HUMIDIFICATION PLANT AUTOMATION

Control logics is the brain of the entire DDC Systems. 


Control logics are programmed with SET software and are loaded in the Web Enabled Controller. The controller for Spinning Department has been programmed for the following sequence.



1.     The system is powered ON.

2.    The System Checks for Auto/Manual Switch. If the switch is in Auto the controller executes further program.

3.   The system checks for time program. By Programming the start and stop time in advance the system start /stop the Humidification plant. The time schedules can be programmed to take into the seasonal conditions, maintenance schedules etc.

4.   The System then checks for alarms present in the system like high/low humidity, temperature  alarms etc. The alarm are recorded in alarm log and necessary action are taken to meet the requirement . In case of no alarm it proceeds further.

5.    Based on the department RH and Temperature the controller perform the following sequence

1.    If Department RH is less the required Setpoint the Controller Switches ‘ON’ the air washer pump and operates damper depending on department Temperature.

2.   If Department RH is more than the setpoint it switches ‘OFF’ the Air Washer Spray Pump and depending on department RH and Temperature operates the dampers to meet the required conditions inside the department.


Optional Items:

The Controller has the option of being programmed for display of Department Enthalpy, Moisture, Air washer Efficiency, dewpoint temperatures , Department CFM etc.


Introduction:


The Web Enabled controller uses Ethernet and  TCP/IP technologies. 

Each controller incorporates a web server which can deliver user specific Web pages to a  PC or mobile running with a internet browser. 

With a basic module of 16 I/O and  expandable upto 192 I/O channels the controller can be programmed to suit any application.

As You are aware humidification plant room is designed for peak summer conditions and this conditions remains in a year for only few hours in a day and few days in a month. 

So with varying outside air conditions the damper and air washer pump has to be dynamically  operated in order to maintain the required department conditions. 

The repeatability and accuracy in maintaining the department RH and temperature counts in maintaining the Quality of the Yarn

So a manual operation of dampers and pump control is very difficult.

By using web enabled controller the RH can be controlled to a precision of +/-2%

The controller is mounted inside a panel and erected near the MCC of respective Humidification Plant or inside the department. 

The controller is connected to the field devices like Humidity & Temperature Sensor, Damper Actuator etc.

The controller will be programmed to control the damper and air washer pump by sensing department RH and temperature.

The department temperature will be maintained at a optimum level. 

The department RH and Temperature can be recorded i.e 1000 readings for analysis purpose. 

Alarms will  be continuously logged in the controller. The alarm acknowledged and not acknowledged can be viewed. 

The department RH, temperature setpoints are  field settable to offer flexibility in operation.
